What is Talc?
Talc is a naturally occurring hydrous magnesium silicate mineral, prized industrially for its extreme softness, high lubricity, chemical inertness, and ability to absorb oil and moisture. As a functional filler and performance additive, it improves opacity, smoothness, and processing behaviour in coatings, plastics, rubber, paper, ceramics, and agricultural products.
What is Talc-Chlorite?
Talc-chlorite is a mixed mineral ore containing both talc and chlorite in varying proportions. It combines the softness of talc with the greater thermal and mechanical stability of chlorite, making it well suited to applications that demand a more heat-resistant mineral filler than pure talc alone.
